Pulse diagnosis is a diagnostic technique used in Ayurveda, traditional chinese medicine, traditional mongolian medicine, siddha medicine, traditional Tibetan medicine, and Unani In Ayurveda advocates claim that by taking a pulse examination, humoral imbalances such as the three Doshas (Vata, Pitta, and Kapha) can be diagnosed. The ayurvedic pulse also claims to determine the balance of prana, tejas, and ojas.

SahajaRetreat , Rishikesh brings to you a retreat program effectively designed to balance the Humors /Doshas of a student using Integrated yoga and Ayurvedic techniques Customised Yoga classes and an ayurvedic diet plan is scheduled for a student who is in a quest to balance the self and detox using natural techniques.

This innovative retreat program is being conducted near Rishikesh and the location is nestled amidst a vast forest expanse , panoramic Himalayan valley adjoining a perennial brook that is tributary of the river Ganga.

Detailed Itinerary


day1 Pulse diagnosis
  • 06:30 am - Wake up
  • 06:30-07:00 am - Morning pulse diagnosis followed by Tea ( Green tea , honey ginger , lemon, tulsi).
  • 07:00-09:00 am - Customised yoga session that includes- (Hatha yoga / Ashtanga yoga / holistic yoga).
  • 09:00-09:30 am - Customised Pranayamas ,mudras ,bandhas and kriyas .(Basic) As per the requirement of each student.
day2 rishikesh
  • 09:30-11:00 am - Discussions based on the yoga session and breakfast (Holistic) .
  • 11:00-01:00 pm - Excursions / Adventure treks / Study tour in various ecosystems (For nature understanding) Or Shramdaan( Karma yoga), cleaning the area , education in the villages, time spending with aged people .
  • 01:00-02:00 pm - Holistic lunch ( Mindful eating session).
day 3 pulse diagnosis
  • 02:00-03:00 pm - Rest and recreation.
  • 03:30-05:00 pm - Jnana yoga (Discussions on various Yoga philosophies, yoga sutras and the modern day approach of their implementation) Or Ayurvedic principles and cooking.
  • 05:00-06:00 pm - Moon salutations , Meditations, Kriya yoga , Chakra meditation.
  • 06:00-07:00 pm - Bhakti Yog ,Kirtan , Naad / swara yoga
  • 07:00 pm - Dinner
  • 08:00 pm onwards - Personal time ,Story telling , games and camp activities.
  • 10 :00 pm - Lights Off

Breakfast

~ Morning Fruit with homemade porridge , Brown Bread with Coffee and Tea.

Lunch

~ Green Salad with Cucumbers, Tomato & Avocado.

~ Rice, Dal, Chapati, Vegetable .

Dinner

~ Green Salad with Tomatoes, Cabbage, Red Onion with Zesty Dressing .

~ Coriander, Cumin baked over Spinach, Tomatoes, and Lemon .

~ Fresh Carrot Salad with Raisins, and Mint .

Dessert

1. All participants will stay in a single room with attached bathroom unless requested otherwise (couples can request double room)

2. Daily nourishing, sattvic vegetarian meals (breakfast, lunch & dinner)

5. Swami Dayananda Ashram has a beautiful new fully equipped yoga hall with Iyengar props at the bank of Mother Ganga

7. Experienced homeopathic doctor available in the ashram free of cost

8. Information & guidance for local sightseeing (before or after retreat)

Confirmation Policy

~ You will receive a confirmation via email within 24 hours of successful booking.

~ In case the preferred retreats are unavailable, an alternate schedule of your preference will be arranged and a new confirmation will be sent via email.

~ Alternatively, you may choose to cancel the booking and a full refund will be processed.

Cancellation Policy

~ 70 % Cancellation less than 7 days in advance.

~ 50% in case of 15 days in advance.
